EDUCATION PROGRAMMES AT ALL SAINTS’ CATHEDRAL

CURSILLO

The term ‘Cursillo’ means ‘a short course’. The Cursillo movement is run predominately by a team of lay people assisted by a number of clergy.

The Cursillo experience begins with a three day live-in weekend where carefully prepared talks and discussion are provided along with times of reflection, fellowship and worship. Through this people get to experience a supportive and encouraging community through which we can grow in our relationship with Christ and learn more about the Christian faith. The weekends are held separately for men and women.

All worshipping Anglicans are welcome to attend Cursillo. Further information is available from the Parish Office on 02 6331 4711.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

A number of groups meet regularly in the Parish for Bible study.
KYB (for women): Tuesdays at 10 am in the Abbott Room (Contact 63314711 ).
EFM (Education for Ministry) 2015 – BeganJuly 2015 with a new group.

CATHEDRAL KIDS

Cathedral Kids is our Sunday School and is designed for infants and primary school aged children. It is held during the 10 am service on Sunday mornings.
After the children’s hymn, the children gather at the font, proceed up the aisle to a receive a blessing before going to their own programme of worship. They return in the middle of the service in time for Communion. The material used comes from ‘Seasons of the Spirit’ which follows the worship theme for the day. Join us for games, craft, singing and lots more fun. All Welcome.
